MARRIAGE INFORMATION
Congratulations! The Heavenly Father takes pleasure and interest in your upcoming marriage.
Sunrise is a great place to have your wedding, along with the availability of the Pastor to perform the service.
Procedures to follow:
*Contact the Minister of Sunrise to complete wedding application and approval of the use of the facilities.
*Schedule your wedding date with the church office at 632-8862. After we receive the initial deposit fee, (to hold the date) we will mail you a
confirmation of the time and date of the wedding. Weddings scheduled less than thirty (30) days prior to the wedding date must pay fees in cash.
If you need a Piano player please let the Minister know.
Only our Pastoral Staff will be used in performing wedding services.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND GUIDELINES
The use of tobacco, alcoholic beverages, or profane language of any form is not accepted on church property. Care should be taken that rice, confetti or birdseed is not thrown within the church building. They may be used outside. The photographer, (or anyone else taking pictures,) must consult with the minister prior to the ceremony, in order to understand the limitations placed on this privilege. Time schedules must be promptly observed: The bride and the attendants should be at the church one-hour prior to the wedding. The groom, his attendants and ushers should be at the church 45 minutes prior to the wedding. Please bring you marriage license to the rehearsal and give it to the Senior Minister. This church building is dedicated to the ministry of Jesus Christ. By asking that your wedding be conducted by a Christian minister, you are giving recognition to marriage as an ordinance of God. It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to make certain all participants have equal respect for the occasion and that they demonstrate that attitude by doing nothing that will disturb the dignity and reverence of the service.
